Potentially my finest (or maybe worst) quality is that I'm eternally disappointed with my own understanding.
This might be why I've shown a specific ability for maths and also physics. Simply understanding is never adequate for me; I must at least aim to carefully recognise the reasoning behind the maths I do, and after that, take my expertise to its limitations. Profusely asking why something is the way it is, probably to the nuisance of my lecturers, is something I'm forced to do. I, along with numerous others, find this Socratic method of discovering and mentor to be extremely beneficial in developing an essential understanding of maths and physics from standard principles, and I endeavour to enlighten in exactly this manner.
I wish I could imbue students with my intense love of mathematics and physics or, at the minimum, expose the topics as far less challenging compared to they appear. Naturally not everyone is a mathematician, and different minds find out at different rates, nonetheless I will certainly aim to leave an enduring and beneficial impression.
